Bass Performance Hall, opened in 1998 and recognisable for the two 48-foot trumpeting-angel sculptures carved into its limestone facade, is the home of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and one of the most architecturally celebrated American concert halls of the late twentieth century. Sri Swamiji performed there on 4 July 2009.
